Tools I use - Mixing bowls

So this is going to be my first blog post where I just talk. I'm gonna show you the tools that i uses to make cupcakes. This is gonna be a short series where I make different posts about different tools I use. This ranges from piping tips, piping bags to mixing bowls. At the moment i don't have that many things to share but i'll update everytime i get something new that relates to cooking and baking. 

 I'll start with the mixing bowls that i have. They are by the brand Joseph Joseph. On Amazon you can find pretty much the same set, "Nest 8 piece Compact Food Preparation Set". The only difference is the colors and that the set on amazon has a sifter instead of a medium mixing bowl.

So the one i have has:
Large mixing bowl









Medium mixing bowl









Small mixing bowl (has measurements on the side)









Strainer









4 measuring cups. (1 cup, 1/2 cup, 1/3 cup, 1/4 cup)









What i like about this set:
  • You have everything you need at one place. 
  • They fit together as a puzzle so it's easier to store them without it taking up so much space. 
  • You have different sizes of the bowls which is usually needed when you bake
  • Since i live in Sweden it's harder to find measuring cups with these measurements.
  • Great quality
What i don't like:
  • It's expensive 
  • The bowls are not very high so flour easily gets everywhere
If you like having a colorful decor in your kitchen this is very pretty to show off. I find it very useful because of the measuring cups so i can use American recipes. I don't think this is something necessary that you need to run out and buy. But if you want to get something special i would recommend this set. They have a few different kinds and they have many uitilities for the kitchen so definitely worth checking out.
